“Love hard…every night.”

All this forced affection and plastic lovey dovey-ness today somehow reminds me of a great quote that was said during Terrel & Leah’s wedding last month.  Grabbing the mic and introducing himself, Terrel’s brother goes into the obligatory speech given at such an occasion.  Everything was coming along nicely and all - you know pleasant words expressed, well wishes made - when he suddenly dropped some golden words of advice: 

“Love hard…every night.”

I had to do a double take and look up like, ‘Wait, wha?’  I thought I blinked the sentence into existence, but the giggles and murmur within the crowd proved that what I heard initially was correct.  “Love hard…every night.”

Dude didn’t even mean it in THAT way.  And by THAT, I know ya’ll know what I mean.  But the inadvertent innuendo had me thinkin’ that this was the best advice given at any wedding I’ve ever been to yo!  I mean c’mon, ‘Love hard….every night.’
